By law, landlords must have the gas appliances and flues they provide checked every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer, and give tenants a copy of the record. We do the check and give you the certificate.

How do I get a quote?

Are you Gas Safe registered?

Yes. Our registration number is 982128, and you can check it on the Gas Safe Register website.

Which areas do you cover?

East London, including Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets and Hackney, and Essex, including Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood and Epping Forest. The full list of towns is in the Areas section. If you’re not sure, send us your postcode.

Can you fit a cooker I’ve bought myself?

Yes. We can connect a gas cooker or hob and safety test it before we leave. Send us the make and model so we can check what’s needed.

Do you do landlord gas safety certificates?

Yes. We carry out the annual gas safety check (CP12) and send you the certificate, ready to give to your tenants.

I can smell gas. What should I do?

Open doors and windows, and turn off the gas at the meter if you can (not if the meter is in a cellar or basement). Don’t use light switches, plugs or anything with a flame. Get everyone outside, then call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. It’s free and open 24/7. Once it’s been made safe, we can do the repair.
